At the End of the Day...Thank You

Sometimes I go through little patches of "why me?!" phases. It's in moments like these where I feel the entire cosmos is against me and I am left in an unimaginable and impossible pit of despair...and then out the clear blue...the most unimaginable and impossible miracle happens and things are not only OK...but BETTER than I ever could have done on my own. These moments happen all the time and lately they have really had a profound impact on me...so much so that it has forced me to pause and think. And this is what I have concluded...THERE IS NO POSSIBLE WAY WE ARE ALONE IN THIS LIFE. Call it a higher power, call it the universe, call it karma, call it aliens...but I call it God. No matter what name the world gives it...or doesn't give it...I know that there is no way that this life is just happen stance. And at the end of the day...there is not a more comforting thought than knowing I have a Father in Heaven who is actively participating in my life. So I am going to keep counting my blessing and saying thank you for the countless miracles that come each day.

I realize too often I skip over the miracles and jump right to the crummy part of life and complain, complain, complain. In fact I think I have turned the "woe is me" mindset into an art form. No more...I am turning over a new leaf. Time to "Come what may and love it" and if I may add my own tag "...and mean it" It doesn't mean the cosmos won't ever turn inside out and backward out of my favor...in fact it will probably happen more often now, however it does me I can expect the change and love the result. Which inevitably is a HUMANGOUS MIRACLE. So in an effort to start on the right foot...I would like to thank the cosmos today for once again turning into a deep dark pit of despair, only to help me see more clearly the light at the end of the tunnel. Today was a great day full of little seeds of proof that "there is more to life than what we see."
